We may update, change or remove website content at any time without notice.

3. Venue Enquiries

Venue owners, managers or authorised representatives may submit an enquiry for a charging station.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee approval or installation.

Station approval may depend on factors including:

  • venue type

  • location

  • customer traffic

  • available space

  • power access

  • suitability of the premises

  • station availability

  • commercial viability

  • agreement between both parties

Get Charged | Venues Australia may accept or decline any venue enquiry at its discretion.

4. No-Cost Venue Installation

Where stated, a station may be supplied and installed at no upfront cost to a suitable venue.

“No upfront cost” means the venue is not required to purchase the station or pay an initial installation fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

This does not mean customers use the service for free.

Customer rental fees may still apply when a customer rents a power bank from a station.

Any venue arrangement, including profit split, station model, placement, advertising rights, maintenance and termination terms, will be subject to a separate venue agreement.

5. Customer Power Bank Rentals

Customers may rent a power bank from a Get Charged station using the available payment method shown at the station.

Payment methods may include:

  • card payment

  • phone payment

  • NFC payment

  • QR code scanning

  • app-based payment

  • other supported payment methods

Rental pricing will be displayed at the station, in the app, or through the payment process before use.

Our standard rental price is generally based on a set period of time, such as $10 per 60 minutes, unless otherwise displayed or agreed.

Prices may vary depending on the venue, station model, promotion, event, location or rental arrangement.

6. Deposits, Holds and Pre-Authorisations

Some rentals may require a deposit, temporary payment hold or pre-authorisation.

This may be used to cover:

  • rental charges

  • late returns

  • unreturned power banks

  • damaged power banks

  • replacement costs

  • failed payments

Where a deposit, hold or pre-authorisation applies, the amount and process should be displayed during the rental/payment process.

The timing of release of any bank hold or pre-authorisation may depend on your bank, card provider or payment platform and may not be controlled by Get Charged | Venues Australia.

7. Returning a Power Bank

Customers must return the rented power bank correctly to an approved Get Charged station or other approved return location.

A power bank is not considered returned until the system recognises and confirms the return.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the power bank is properly inserted and accepted by the station.

If a power bank is not correctly returned, further rental charges, late fees, replacement charges or other applicable fees may apply.

8. Lost, Damaged or Unreturned Power Banks

If a power bank is lost, damaged, stolen, not returned, or returned in a condition that prevents future use, the customer may be charged a replacement or damage fee.

The replacement fee may vary depending on the power bank model, station system, payment provider and rental terms shown at the time of rental.

Customers should contact support as soon as possible if a power bank is lost, damaged or cannot be returned.

9. Faulty Power Banks or Failed Rentals

If a power bank does not work, does not charge your device, cannot be released, or you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact us as soon as possible.

Please provide:

  • your name

  • contact details

  • venue/location

  • date and time of rental

  • payment reference if available

  • station ID or QR code information if available

  • photos or screenshots if relevant

Where required by Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy.

This may include a refund, credit, replacement rental or other reasonable resolution depending on the circumstances.

When using a Get Charged power bank, you agree to:

  • use the power bank safely and responsibly

  • not open, tamper with, modify or damage the power bank

  • follow all instructions displayed on the station, app or payment screen

If you notice any issue with a station or power bank, stop using it and contact support.

  • has visible cracks or damage

If you experience a safety issue, immediately stop using the power bank and notify venue staff and Get Charged support.

12. Venue Responsibilities

Where a venue hosts a Get Charged station, the venue must comply with its separate venue agreement.

Get Charged | Venues Australia may refuse or remove advertising that is offensive, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, reputationally harmful or unsuitable.

14. Pricing and Payment

Rental pricing, fees and payment methods may vary depending on the station, venue, event, payment provider or promotional offer.

All prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Where GST applies, prices may be inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. By using the service, you may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment provider.

Any card surcharge or payment fee, if charged, will be disclosed where required and will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian laws.

15. Refunds

Refunds may be considered where:

  • a power bank did not release from the station

  • a power bank was faulty

  • a duplicate payment occurred

  • an incorrect charge was applied

  • the service was not provided as required

  • a refund is required under Australian Consumer Law

Refunds will not generally be provided where:

  • a customer changes their mind

  • a customer forgets to return a power bank

  • a customer returns a power bank late

  • a customer damages or loses a power bank

  • the customer did not follow the rental instructions

  • a bank hold or pre-authorisation is still pending but not yet finalised

This does not limit any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.

16. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
